Right And Wrong

I have learned over the years that there is never a right time to do the wrong thing. Doing the wrong thing is considered sin, and God has never been and will never be pleased with the sins of man. In fact, God hates sin so much that He sent His only begotten Son to pay the penalty for the sins of the world that we may be freed from sin.

The Apostle Paul wrote in Romans 6:15 saying, “…Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not!

Listen, there is never a good time to sin. Sin is always wrong and will never be right. The continuation in sin comes with a steep penalty. Sin also tends to hang around longer than you had planned for it to and it tends to cost you more than you wanted it to.

I get it, it is often easier to do wrong than it is to do right. But we must overcome the temptations to do wrong and do right. There will always be the opportunity to do wrong; however, when that opportunity arises, also arises the opportunity to do right. Just swipe right!

Some of you may remember me mentioning my simple principle in life? I try to live my life by this simple principle, “Right people do the right thing because it’s the right thing to do.”

You are not wrong nor are you a bad person because you had a bad thought. It becomes wrong when you act on that bad thought and bring it to life. We struggle from time to time to do what is right and that is why we need God’s help, His keeping power by way of His Precious Spirit. We cannot do it on our own. This world we live in offers too much wickedness to allow us to. The tiny fibers of wrong woven into a heart of good will continue to fight us on doing what is right. But thanks be to God who is able to keep us from wrong doings!

Human beings who have not been born again will not be able to love unconditionally and do what is right when being done wrong. But for those of us who put our faith and trust in God, choose to accept Jesus Christ as our personal savior, and follow the guidance of Holy Spirit will be victorious in this right and wrong battle.

Amid all the evil that is going on around you, look to God and remember that there is never a right time to do the wrong thing.

God bless you,
