At The Right Time

Have you ever found yourself wishing for the ability to speed things up? Perhaps you were, or maybe you are currently waiting on something and the wait seems to be taking forever. Do you ever find yourself loosing hope in what you have asked for because it just seems to be taking God a long time to deliver? Maybe you asked God a question and you are still waiting for the answer? Trust me, I know the feeling.

Well the Bible tell us that there is an appointed time for everything. And God also knows the importance of waiting. Sometimes we want the right things but at the wrong time.

Habakkuk 2:3 encourages us with these words, “At the time I have decided, my words will come true.

You can trust what I say about the future. It may take a long time but keep on waiting – it will happen!”

God’s timing is impeccable! He is always on time. Maybe not according to our time, but according to His time. 2 Peter 3:8 tells us that, “…With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day.” What? Yes, to most of us time is the condition of thought and action, but not to God. His thoughts are not as our thoughts, nor His ways as our ways. What seems delay to us is none to Him.

God has exactly what you need, exactly when you need it.

The Apostle Paul writes to the church at Philippi, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

Let us find peace in knowing God is an on time God. I often tell people that with God, you may get hungry, but you will never starve. Trust in knowing that He may not come when you want Him, but He will come at the right time!

God bless you,
