I just love STEAM activities. They are so engaging that kids don’t even know it’s “school stuff”! There are so many wonderful choices for STEAM fun, but today I chose one that has a holiday theme.
Crystal Christmas Candy Canes Science Activity
Not only will your kids will be able to check out how crystals grow and learn a bit about suspension science, but they will be making some beautiful crystal candy canes to hang on your Christmas tree! Your will need some borax that you can find in the detergent aisle of your grocery store, some wide-mouth mason jars, red, green and white pipe cleaners and popsicle sticks.
