My two adopted twins turned 1 year of age on August the 10th. You may not believe it, but they did not have a birthday party. Not because of the virus, because I totally forgot! Oh well, Mothers have a lot of responsibility these days. They were given some cheerios the next day when I realized they were no longer goat babies.
It has been a great year. They have learned to talk, scream, and chase each other. One of our favorite play times is to play chase and hide and seek. I was running and stopped behind a shrub. Bella ran into me and broke my leg. We went to the emergency room and they laughed at me! Went to the Orthopedic Physician, they placed me in one of those horrible big black boots. It is now six weeks past and I am still in the awful boot for another week or so, before we can play again. They do not understand, they want the boot to go away.
They are curious and into everything. They are lovable and sweet. Bella and Fella will put anything in their mouth and chew on it, if allowed. Bella climbs trees, she is such a tomboy. Fella likes to get in the swing with me and look into my eyes. I have been told that means he loves me.
I miss bottle feeding them, it was so bonding. They may be goats, but they still think I am their mother. Bella and Fella love to lay in the lounge chair with me. Reading a book is not acceptable, they want my full attention. It is and has been a great year. I love them so much!
