Hope
“All things are possible to him who believes.” – Mark 9:23
Is my “hope” just an optimistic state of mind? Or, do I have an expectation for positive outcomes? Think about it. Hope is a part of everyone’s life. Is change for the better just optimism? Perhaps! However, even a pessimistic person can still be hopeful about something. Hope can be very specific and focused.
Examples: “I hope I get that job or promotion.” “I got the COVID vaccine and I hope I stay well.” “I hope she calls me!” “Now that spring has sprung, I hope it stays that way!”
Hope can also provide the key to just making life better.
What kind of hope do you have for eternity? Not sure? Hope can motivate you to take whatever steps you need to take for assurance of how and when you meet your Savior – face-to- face one day. If you are a believer, love your neighbor by taking a step of faith and HOPE by sharing Christ’s love with them, so they can experience “hope.”
Having your salvation assurance in place can make your witness REAL… being confident of this, that he will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
– Philippians 1:6
