LIFE
“And whoever lives by believing in Me will never die. Do you believe this?”
NIV – John 11:26
What is the meaning of LIFE? Is it that ONE thing that we all must figure out? Is life meaningless? Ecclesiastes 1:2, NIV, says, “Meaningless! Meaningless!” says the Teacher. “Utterly meaningless! Everything is meaningless”.
WOW! How’s that for starting off your day with a positive approach to LIFE? But wait! There’s more. Life without the knowledge of God does lead to emptiness. In the midst of this pandemic, worldly unrest, threats of economic loss, news focused on doom and gloom, troubles everywhere, what is our hope? We become ensnared by the things and events in this world – endless pursuit to get more, live longer, trying to get ahead has led us to a fast-paced, competitive and sometimes cruel world.
Find the true meaning of life by first seeking after Jesus Christ – Luke 12:31, NIV, “But seek His kingdom, and these things will be given to you as well.” Continuing, refer to John 20:31, NIV, “But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.”
Be grateful for what God has already provided for us. Thank God for what we HAVE and do not focus on what we do NOT have!
The true meaning of LIFE is trusting in Jesus Christ for eternal salvation. Doing so, you CAN be assured of knowing that the ONE THING that really counts in life is living forever with our SAVIOR where life is filled with a lasting relationship with Him.
