Did you know that in the 1300s children were baptized in cider because it was felt it was more sanitary than water? Or, it takes 36 apples to make one gallon of cider? And, it was in 1307 that William Tell was said to have shot an apple off his son’s head. Celebrate this remarkable apple drink with a cup of cider today.
