Mission Impossible

“Have you any rivers, that seem uncrossable? And have you any mountain, that you cannot tunnel through? God Specializes in things thought impossible, and He will do what no other, no other power but holy power can do.” These are a few lyrics from the song titled God Specializes by Lizz Wright. This is one of my favorite songs that my mother will sing from time to time. It helps me to remain in faith during the challenging times of life and it helps me to thrust forward on the hopes and dreams that God placed on the inside of me.

The Bible tells us in Luke 1:37, “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Often our minds cannot handle what God is doing in the supernatural; therefore, we begin to question: who, what, when, where, and why? We begin to wonder things such as: how can this be, I do not have the proper education, I do not have the money, no one else have ever done it.

Hey, you are not alone when it comes to wondering these things. Mary, mother of Jesus once wondered the same things. When the angel Gabriel told Mary that she was going to conceive a child, baby Jesus, Mary responded, “How can this be, since I am a virgin?” Luke 1:34.

After the angel of the Lord ministered to Mary about how this mission impossible would come to past, Mary then responded in faith saying, “…let it be to me according to your Word.” Luke 1:38.

Look, we must begin to focus on the promises and not the problems! We need to trust that with God nothing shall be impossible. God specializes in turning the impossible into the possible. We must stop allowing these light afflictions to hinder our belief!

The Bible tells us to not worry about tomorrow. It also encourages us to stand on the promises of God. We must remember that “God is not man, that He should lie…” so stop worrying about how He is going to do it and just trust that He can and will!

The famous Clark Sisters encouraged us in the song titled Miracle by saying, “Look for a miracle, expect the impossible, feel the intangible, and see the invisible…”

With God, beyond the sky is the limit to what we can have! There is no mission impossible with God.

God bless you,
Pastor Cooper
