This week we have two very important days of remembrance and celebration; Veterans Day 11 November and the Marine Corps Birthday 10 November. Only 7% of Americans are Veterans. These Americans wrote a blank check payable with up to their lives to defend our Nation. Veterans Day, originally commemorated as Armistice Day at 11th Hour of the 11thDay of the 11th Month to commemorate the fallen of WWI. 10 November the 0.8% of our Citizens who have earned the title Marine will gather everywhere to celebrate the 246th Birthday of our Corps. If you know a Marine tell him Happy Birthday this week and while we do a great job in Texas of thanking our Veterans, let’s be a little more emphatic this week.
