This is a day to ponder the gift of humility and what it can do if we practiced more of it. T.S. Elliot may have said it best: “Humility is not thinking less of yourself, it is thinking of yourself less.”
National Margarita Day

No one is quite sure who invented the margarita, but there are a lot of theories. The most widely spread rumor is that an American socialite named Margarita Sames created the drink for her friends in 1948. One of her party guests was Tommy Hilton, who added the drink to the bar menu at his hotels. Some interesting facts about Margaritas are: the name means “daisy” in Spanish, after seeing a Slurpee in a 7-11 store, a 26 year old Dallas restaurant owner, Mariano Martinez, reconfigured the ice cream machine to pump out frozen Margaritas, and if you think you make a mean Margarita, there is a national championship held every year in Tucson, Arizona.
