National Entrepreneurship Day

In 2010, President Barak Obama declared November to be national entrepreneurship month to be celebrated November 19th. In 2016, there were 25 million Americans who were starting or already running their own business. Construction is the most popular profession for entrepreneurs (19.6%), followed by retail with 10.9%, real estate with 10.7%, and consulting with 10.3%. The creative professions are in 7th place according to entrepreneurship growth statistics.

World Toilet Day

November 19th

The United Nations inaugurated World Toilet Day in 2001 to bring attention to the worldwide sanitation crisis. More than 4.2 billion people in the world live with an unsanitary sewer system with 673 million people having no bathroom facilities at all. Because of the contamination that open sewage causes, 1.8 billion people have unsafe drinking water.
