I have been around for about 400 million years- even before the dinosaurs!
I have the most powerful jaws on the planet.

My habitat is the ocean.
If you guessed a shark, you would be right. Discovery channel’s Shark Week is the longest running summer TV event and is filled with all things sharks. I think you and your child would really enjoy this site. There are interesting facts and games about sharks and also fabulous videos from Jonathan Bird’s Blue World. I especially liked the ones on the great white shark and the megaladon, an extinct shark that ate whales for snacks! Check it out by clicking here.
