The world is filled with so many wonderful things! There are birds in the sky, peaches in the trees, freshly baked bread and new-fallen snow. This lovely picture book is perfect to read during April because nature is putting on quite a beautiful show.
The author takes the simplest of things like the “tiny bird in the wide blue sky”. “It was an egg, then it hatched, and the wonderful happened.” Some of the other wonderful things that happen in this book are pies, cats, apples, dogs, wheat and YOU.
The text is simple, the illustrations are exceptional, and the message is beautiful. The world is full of wonderful things!
